I can’t wait to watch this. Thanks for the recommendation and the shout out. I’m hearing impaired too (with hearing aids) and I can tell you that I never realized how much of the world I was missing until I got my hearing aids a few years ago. I’m always up for a crime/mystery as you know, especially Aussie and British!
I had a good friend in the past who lost most of his hearing when he was 19 or 20. Hearing aids were so-so for him initially, but they got better over time. Because we knew each other so well, he could get about 80% of what I said, so I did a lot of “interpreting” for him.
He didn’t like ASL and never got very proficient when I knew him.
I almost mentioned Aussie and Kiwi have some great shows, too, but wanted to keep it simple this time. Thank for the feedback!
“Today (because I am retired and I can do what I want)…”
That gave me a smile both because of the fun freedom it represents and because it is true for me. Enjoyed the entire article.
Thanks, David! Getting affirmation when I am trying something new means a lot.

Thanks for the mention! I just started watching this show and like it so far!
Thanks for the restack, Reda!
